It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the global climate crisis. Feeling helpless about what you as an individual can do is a normal response to something of this scale. We made Collective.Energy as a response to the statement, "I don’t know what I can do".
Maybe you have ideas for how to help but you’re not sure what to do about them. Every environmental idea that doesn’t become reality is something incredibly valuable that society is missing out on. The problem is that in order to make your eco-ideas into reality, you often need help. This help might come in the form of feedback, support, data, money, or connections to influential people.
Collective.Energy is building an online community of inspired environmental doers and empowering them by providing a platform to get the help they need.
How does it work? →
Let’s say you see an opportunity to make a positive environmental impact. You think you might have a great idea for how to do that:
- Browse through a clean feed of the discussions already happening around that area.
- Someone else working on something similar? Shoot them a message or contribute your thoughts to the conversation.
- If no one is talking about it, post it yourself.
At a minimum, you’ll start a thoughtful discussion. At best, you’ll kickstart a project to make the world a better place.
As ideas start gaining traction, they are already connected to the global sustainability community’s contributions in a more organized way. Need help? Collective.Energy lets you let others know what you’re looking for: technical help, a hand with design, or just someone to hear you out.
